Masterclasses

The final two days of the workshop will offer a unique opportunity to participate in tutorial lectures and master classes on computer modeling of nanophotonic devices. Our goal is to expand your knowledge of simulation techniques, improve your skills in numerical modeling, and provide you with hands-on experience.

How will it work?
1

We will divide participants into small teams of 3-4 individuals and assign each team a research problem. You will be suggested the research problem spanning from basics of numerical modeling in Comsol MultiphysicsTM environment to advanced analytical methods depending on your level and preferences.

2

Our tutors, who are experts in analytical and numerical methods, will provide educational lectures to help you efficiently approach and solve the problem. With their guidance, you will work in a self-study regime for the next 1.5 days.

3
On the final day, you will present and defend your results. Upon completion of the Masterclass, you will receive a certificate acknowledging your newly acquired skills.
